The first fruits of our relationship with Heavenly Songs [the publishing arm of the highly regarded UK label Heavenly Recordings] have been plucked from the Garden of England -
Chatham boy Pete Molinari is just about to release his third album ‘A Train Bound For Glory’, an album shaped by his troubadour ventures across the globe, but most significantly his frequent trips to New York, New Orleans and Nashville, the latter city being where the album itself was recorded, produced by Adam Landry & Justin Collins, and featuring the backing vocal talents of The Jordanaires [who used to collaborate with a fella called Elvis Presley].

As a kid I was given two books that made as big an impression on me as anything could. They were by Woody Guthrie and Jack Kerouac and along with the songs and music that were later handed down to me, they helped convince me that my life should and would be some kind of journey on the road that some call bound for glory and others the road less traveled by”.

The album will be coming out through the Clarksville label on June 7 th .

Pete’s previous albums — ‘Walking Off The Map’ (2006) and ‘A Virtual Landslide’ (2008), produced by Billy Childish and Liam Watson respectively, were received to great critical acclaim, which has solidly built up his reputation leading to his debut on the act breaking BBC television show ‘Later…with Jools Holland’, where he performed his latest single “A Streetcar Named Desire” [ ].
