Standard Music Library: Licensing

In the UK and Ireland, production music is available at fixed rates. These are set by the MCPS (Mechanical Copyright Protection Society), who license our repertoire and collect royalties on our behalf.

All users of Production Music must sign the MCPS' Code of Conduct agreement before music is supplied. This is a simple process and free of charge.

To license Standard Music Library material from outside the UK, please contact your local agent as listed below. If we are not represented in your territory, please contact the UK office.

PRS (the Performing Right Society) payments are the responsibility of the broadcaster or exhibitor and not the producer.
