Dan Weller


Dan is a producer, writer and guitarist, well known for his work in rock and metal, but with credits as diverse as Children’s BBC to his name.

Dan began his musical career as guitarist, writer and producer in metal band SikTh.  Renowned in the metal world and credited with spawning the microgenre ‘djent’, SikTh are often name-checked as an influence by bands the World over.

SikTh split in 2007 and Dan started his career in earnest as a Producer, with credits including Young Guns (first 2 albums incl the single ‘Bones’, No.1 at US Rock radio and Kerrang’s ‘Best Track of 2012), Enter Shikari (including their award-winning albums ‘A Flash Flood of Colour’ in 2012 and The Mindsweep, again hitting No 1 in the Independent Charts and being voted Independent Album of the Year 2015).

Dan is an extremely versatile co-writer across the genres with various collaborators including singer songwriter Nina Nesbitt, Olivia Sebastienelli, Cam Bloomfield, Huntar and Ellie Rose.

Always a fan of developing the new he continues to work with many up and coming unsigned bands and artists of all genres (he also often appears as an inspirational guest lecturer at music colleges).

Sikth re-formed for initially for a one-off reunion gig in 2014 which led to a sold-out tour (and further shows and tours with Slipknot and Trivium) and they released their 3rd studio album in 2017.
