Isobel Waller-Bridge


Biography

Composer and instrumentalist, Isobel Waller-Bridge has worked across a number of genres. Her work for film includes the BAFTA-award winning documentary film ‘The Imposter’, and the BBC television series, ‘Frozen Planet’. She is currently scoring the stage production of ‘Neville’s Island’ by Tim Firth (Calendar Girls) starring Rufus Hound (One Man Two Guvnors). Isobel graduated with a First Class degree in Music from Edinburgh University and then received a Masters with Distinction from King’s College London. She was subsequently awarded a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music, where she received her diploma for performance. Shortly afterwards, Isobel began working with multi-award winning composers, George Fenton and Stephen Warbeck. She subsequently attracted solo commissions including a Ballet at the Royal Opera House; an Angela Carter opera; an album with noted French electro producer Jerome Caron, and on-going work with leading theatres across the UK.
