BIOG

Recording in his Father’s backyard Essex shed, Rick crafts crunchy, punchy tunes with hooks and melodies that sound infinitely more panoramic than his environment should allow for.

His music is best summed up as “here I go ... here it is ... hope you like it...”.

Rick has always gigged around the South East of the country and was signed to publisher BUCKS MUSIC GROUP back in 2004.

He’s contributed songs and co-written with Mel Blatt 9All Saints), Cathy Burton an has featured on film soundtracks such as the Johnny Knoxville movie ‘Grand Theft Parsons’, for which Rick’s hi-octane version of the Flying Burrito Brothers’ classic ‘Christine’s Tune’ was stitched seamlessly amidst music by Starsailor, Soundtrack Of Our Lives, Gillian Welch, Wilco & Evan Dando.

FLY Records released a few singles and his debut album which attracted critical acclaim and led to featured radio sessions on xFM and other indie stations.

Rick’s FLY release are re-released on digital platforms this year (2023) and are well worth checking out.
