Bucks Music Group and Roundhouse Rising Presents...

Bucks Music Group Presents and Roundhouse Rising presents... Kai Whiston, Colossal Squid and AE Max on Thursday 17th October 2019. Tickets are on sale now — for more information, click here

Kai Whiston’s rupturing abrasion refuses to take its foot off the pedal. The 19 year-old producer’s hyper-surrealist, electronic, beat-frenzied music draws fractured influences from Arca, Hudson Mohawke, Death Grips, Timbaland & even occasionally nu-metal, smashing an entire spectrum of references together.

Colossal Squid is a fitting name for Adam Betts’ solo offering. The Three Trapped Tigers drummer brings his unbridled, percussive energy to the forefront, crafting an output that combines his love for the irregularities in electronic music (by the likes of Aphex Twin, Autechre and Oneohtrix Point Never) with his visceral connection with live drums.

There will be no pensive chin-stroking when Irish artist Æ MAK hits the stage with a liberating, bold, energy that’s become synonymous with her name. Aoife McCann aka Æ MAK was the first artist chosen for Festival Republic’s ReBalanced programme – a new initiative that will address the gender imbalance in the music industry. Since then, the rhythmically driven art-pop artist has caught the attention of music and arts fans alike and has taken on a whirlwind of festival and show dates.
