'Caveat' Premieres on Shudder TV

Damian Mc Carthy's 'Caveat' has premiered on Shudder TV today (June 3rd) - the film features a brilliant score by Richard G. Mitchell. The horror follows a lone drifter suffering from partial memory loss who accepts a job to look after a psychologically troubled woman in an abandoned house on an isolated island. You can stream the film here

CAVEAT scores 94% - Rotten Tomatoes

Both modern in its oblique surrealism but also reminiscent of silent cinema - The Guardian

A remarkably accomplished film - ABC Radio Australia

Caveat composer Richard G. Mitchell has his work cut out for him here but manages to deliver a score that drifts through your mind as much as it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand on end - Horror Obsessive

Richard G. Mitchell’s foreboding score, creates an eerie sense of isolation - Horror Buzz

Proof that cinema can be genuinely scary - Starburst

The music is hair-raising, foreboding, and completely different from Mitchell’s prior work. Caveat was the first horror film that Mitchell has scored, and he was quite instrumental in the making of Damian Mc Carthy’s debut feature a success. The two worked hand-in-hand to create a film that wades through deep, chilling waters - iHorror
