Award winning composer Richard G. Mitchell is an established purveyor of high quality soundscapes and scores that have graced British TV and cinema screens since the Nineties. (For more information check out) His display cabinet includes Ivor Novello and Royal Television Society Awards, giving rise to Richard thinking 'My Dreams Are Getting Much Better All The Time'.
When commissioned for 'Grand Theft Parsons' he had an ace up his sleeve. Long time musician / producer buddy Sam Hill needed little persuasion to offer his services and recorded sessions in Nashville with legendary Pedal Steel Guitar player Al Perkins for Richard's score. (Not only was Al the featured pedal steel player on Gram's two solo albums, he is a bona fide legend who remains as in demand as ever as a session player. His credits range from The Rolling Stones to Don Henley and Tori Amos).

Richard's pensively atmospheric soundscape adds an impassioned depth to enhance the Cosmic American Spirit that pervades the movie.
