Q: How did this sync come about?

"Janesta who was the amazing supervisor on this work is a really good friend of mine, and since I started at Bucks two years ago we have kind of had this thing of wouldn’t it be amazing to do a Bowie sync together, so when she emailed me at the end of October asking if ‘Space Oddity’ was one of our tracks I just knew something really exciting was going to happen. "

Q: What was the promo for?

"The promo was for Elite Dangerous which was part of the Elite franchise by Frontier."

Q: How long did it take from receiving the request to the promo being on air?

"From the initial message to the promo going on air it was about one and a half months. It’s actually quite a lot of time in our industry – when you’re working with a heritage track you just have to make sure they use the track respectfully and that’s something we had to consider."

Q: What about this track made it the perfect fit for this promo?

"So I think the slow track kind of juxtaposed against the kind of epic fighting scenes in the trailer just work so well together and obviously the lyrics were an amazing match and it was just really exciting to see how they pulled it all together and I think it came out really well. "

Q: What makes this sync feel special?

"So nearly three years ago Janesta bought me this [David Bowie] bag for my birthday which I think pretty much sums up how excited we were to work on this trailer together."
