Member of Teenage Fanclub and BMX Bandits. Also has solo guitar pop project Nice Man & The Bad Boys.

Has worked with Kim Fowley, Dan Penn, Alex Chilton, Chip Taylor and Laura Cantrell among many others.

Francis runs indie pop label Shoeshine Records, incorporating coutry-roots imprint Spit & Polish.

Francis has worked on music for film and TV and has written songs with/for Teenage Fanclub, Laura Cantrell, BMX Bandits, Kim Fowley and fellow Bucks songwriter Scott Gibson.
