Glasgow based Kenny Inglis can boast wide, extensive credits as an artist, producer, and composer for film, television and media. His 2025 composing credits include the Channel 4 feature documentary, produced by Blast! Films, CONVICTION – The Lucy Letby Story, and for 72 Films Jane Austen: Rise of a Genius (BBC), and Dictator (Adolf), distributed to broadcasters and streamers worldwide.
As an artist, Kenny’s career began with releases through to the cult Chicago label Guidance Recordings.
Kenny’s step into film, television and media came with multiple synchs in HBO’s Six Feet Under and CBS’s franchise CSI, leading to providing original score for CSI and his first major UK commissions, including The Bridge – Fifty Years Across The Forth, Superhospital, First Oil Rush (all BBC), and Ian Rankin’s Channel 4 series Murder Island.
More recent specially composed film & tv credits include Born From The Same Stranger, ITV’s long running Long Lost Family (both Wall to Wall Media), Firecrest Films’ cutting edge BBC2 crime series Murder Case and Murder Trial.
Further, Kenny’s music, bespoke and licensed, has featured in numerous games, commercials (including for Nike, Audi and American Airlines), and Hollywood trailers (including Warner Bros’ Gangster Squad, Colin Farrell’s Dead Man Down and Trésor Films’ Polisse).
As an artist and producer Kenny has recorded under a number of pseudonyms and has collaborated with Sophie Barker (Zero 7), Andy Bell (Oasis/Ride), Rob Birch (Stereo MCs), Princess Superstar and many more.
As Spylab Kenny received high rotation on Radio 1’s ‘The Breezeblock’ and toured, culminating with a sellout finale at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
With Susan Wallace, Kenny has recorded and toured as Cinephile. Their track Comatose was chosen for the trailer for the Samuel L. Jackson movie Lakeview Terrace.
Kenny’s latest album Everything Wrong As Right was released in 2022 under his Imperfect Stranger pseudonym.
