BIOG

The Jacques have been making noise since 2014 when they debuted their 'Pretty DJ' EP as teenagers. Now, 10 years on, having seen nearly as many lineup changes as The Fall and having experienced tumult and tragedy as well as remarkable successes, the band are ready to embark on Part II of their flight to poetic and artistic notability. Having been championed since the start by Huey Morgan, Don Letts, Chris Hawkins, Steve Lamaq, Huw Stephens and John Kennedy, and dubbed by Jane Savidge as “One of the most original and exciting bands to have burst onto the British music scene in recent years, and one that refuses to be suffocated by genre classification”, The Jacques’ previous shows include SXSW, CMJ, Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, Isle of Wight, Transmusicale, Rock En Seine, Le Chien a Plume, London Calling, Eurosonic and Reeperbahn festivals, and headline tours all over the UK and EU.
