Peggy Seeger: The Folk Show With Mark Radcliffe


Peggy Seeger is set to join Mark Radcliffe on BBC Radio 2's The Folk Show this wednesday (30th July) at 9pm to discuss her groundbreaking 1958 BBC Radio special The Ballad of John Axon. 

Co-created with her late husband Ewan MacColl and Charles Parker, it blended real voices and original music, and went on to inspire the Radio series 21st Century Folk. Seeger, the inspiration behind MacColl's The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face and who recently turned 90 also reflects on her legacy and new album, Teleology.
