New Signing: Graham Crabb

We are excited to announce the signing of Pop Will Eat Itself’s Graham Crabb to a worldwide publishing deal ahead of the band’s new album. A big thank you to Music Week for featuring the signing.

Pop Will Eat Itself achieved UK Top 40 hits with Can U Dig It? and Wise Up! Sucker from their debut album, This Is the Day...This Is the Hour...This Is This!, released in 1989. They went on to earn Top 20 albums in 1992 and 1994 with The Looks Or The Lifestyle and Dos Dedos Mis Amigos.

They were the first unsigned band to ever appear on Top Of The Pops when their 1992 single Get The Girl, Kill The Baddies And Save The Entire Planet entered the UK Top 10.

Crabb is PWEI’s main songwriter, originally alongside Clint Mansell, who was part of the band’s initial line-up. He has embarked on a number of other musical projects over the years including Vileevils (with fellow PWEI members John ‘Fuzz’ Townshend and Adam Mole), Golden Claw Musics and Je Suis Crabbi. He also co-wrote the Prodigy’s Their Law, which appeared on 1994’s Music For A Jilted Generation.

The band’s new album, titled Delete Everything, will be released on October 3, with two singles having already been released: Bruiser in May and Disco Misfits in June.

The autumn tour will span the UK, beginning at Manchester’s Academy 2 on October 17 and ending at Norwich’s Epic Studios on November 29.

Graham Crabb said: "I’ve known Jonathan for over 10 years and consider him a good friend as well as a respected business partner. His advice and guidance is invaluable to me, and along with Sarah [Liversedge Platz] and the rest of the team, Bucks was the obvious choice to partner with for our first new Pop Will Eat Itself album – and biggest tour – in a decade. Looking forward to syncing some beers together on the road.”
