David Arnold & Michael Price's 'Dracula'
The Dracular mini series premiered on 1 January 2020 and was broadcast over three consecutive days on BBC One before releasing on Netflix. The series is based on the Bram Stoker novel and follows Dracula from his origins in Eastern Europe to his battles with Van Helsing's descendants and beyond. Check out the 'How We Scored Dracula' video with David Arnold and Michael Price describing the opening sequence '...like a shop window, it tells you something about what's inside, and makes you want to go in'.

Matthew Herbert’s ‘Noughts + Crosses’
Noughts + Crosses is a British drama television series based on the novel series by Malorie Blackman - the first epidose premiered on BBC One on 5 March 2020. Matthew Herbert caught up with Sony ATV (who are the publisher for the production company) on the creation of the Noughts + Crosses score: 'This was a challenging score to make as it asked us to imagine a world where history was different.... so we tried to avoid genres wherever possible and anything idiomatic or familiar'.
