BIOG

Sam Lewis is a songwriter and guitarist from Camden, London.

As a guitarist, Sam has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Mark Ronson, Sam Smith, Paloma Faith, Jack Savoretti, KT Tunstall, and Duffy, both on stage and in the studio.

Alongside his work as a session guitarist, Sam has consistently developed his own writing, releasing two critically acclaimed solo albums. He is also a key member of the Owiny Sigoma Band, who released three albums on Brownswood Recordings. Sam wrote the band’s lead singles, which received A-list radio play, and their track “Harpoon Land” was featured on a Grand Theft Auto series soundtrack. The band was championed by Thom Yorke and received widespread critical acclaim.

Writing and playing from the heart has always been central to Sam’s work. Many of the relationships he has built as a guitarist have naturally evolved into songwriting collaborations, including work with KT Tunstall, Paloma Faith, and most recently Jack Savoretti, with three songs appearing on his latest album, We Will Always Be the Way We Were.

Sam has also composed music for film and television, including an Audi campaign. More recently, he wrote, produced, and performed the original score for the award-winning documentary Pauline Black: A 2 Tone Story, commissioned by Sky Arts and released in cinemas across the UK.
