Composer, songwriter, artist, performer, Emmy nominated Rob Lewis has built and extensive portfolio in Film & Television as well pursuing songwriting and performing with his band Two Spot Gobi and through a diverse creative range of projects including collaborations with Baz Luhrmann, David Holmes, Noel Gallagher, Jason Mraz and Dave, and co-writing with Laura Doggett and Gabrielli Climi.
Rob is a renowned professional cellist, performing at venues ranging from The Royal Albert Hall in London to The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Rob’s artist released have continued with his third studio album “Dialogue In Boom” released May 2024, “Kings Without Kingdoms” with Beardyman in 2025, and recent singles “Valley Of The Brambles” and “Understanding”.
An innovator in music, Rob's pioneering use of a loop pedal with strings laid the groundwork for his critically acclaimed albums: "Momentum", premiered by Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC Radio 6, and '98', a piece commissioned by Google. His musical compositions have graced diverse settings, from Kew Gardens to the Thames Tideway project, and have been featured in numerous Alexander McQueen fashion shows.
Recognised for his innovative incorporation of strings in his work, and working also notably with cello, piano, and synthesizers, Rob strives to discover a distinctive voice for each project. His goal is to craft music that is both inspiring and emotive, reflecting his passion for the creative process.
His Film & Television credits include "Macbeth" (featuring Shaq B. Grant and winner of Best Feature at the 2026 Raindance Film Festival), “Reappear” (Disney, starring Ellise Chappell), “Mysteries Of The Faith" (Netflix, directed by Robin Dashwood), the augmented reality film "The Last Light" (by Magic Leap), and "Area Boy" (directed by Iggy London and which premiered at La Biennale 2023).
Rob is part of the BAFTA talent programme.
