Seton began his career playing guitar as part of the band Fiction Plane, during which time he toured with artists including Snoop Dogg, The Police and Paul Weller, and played multiple headline tours across Europe and the US.
From writing with the band, Seton began co-writing for other people, and collaborated with Biffco on various artist including Sub Focus and Five Seconds Of Summer whose album went to number 1 in Australia, the UK and US with sales of 259,000 copies in the first week alone.
Seton has gone on to have cuts with artists across a variety of genres including Kylie Minogue, Alok, Wilkinson, Flux Pavillion, Barns Courtney, Steve Angello, Everyone You Know and he scored a Top 10 on Black Honey's second album which featured his cowrite "Back Of The Bar".
“Being in a band and touring has taught me a great deal about writing and performing with artists and having the capacity to collaborate in a genuine and unforced way which artists react well to. Having played on so many different records I have also learned how to be flexible and apply myself to multiple styles and genres of music.”
Seton has also produced many of the artists he writes with including Black Honey’s debut album, Harry Mold, Tomi and Gabrielle Aplin. He has composed music for tv and sync with placements on American Ninja Warrior, Ubisoft, Beats by Dre and the theme to Red or Black.
